My Response

I actually didn't find any of this information very helpful or exciting. Texas is one of the largest populated states in the United States, so obviously it's going to have one the highest birth rates. In the future, I guess I am going to have to try to find more interesting facts and better information.

My notes!

-Teen pregnancy statistics have risen in 26 states



- The highest birthrates are in the southwest, and the lowest are in the northeast


- Teens 15-17 have a 15% chance of teenage pregnancy



- Teens 18-19 have an 18% chance of becoming pregnant



-Teen brith rate increased 3% over a short amount of time



-Texas has the highets rate of teenage prgnancies in the United States



-Mississippi and New Mexico aren't that far behind.
